MagicGEO is built for Shopify and WooCommerce merchants who need honest, auditable Generative Engine Optimization. This page explains how we handle data, what we never do, and how we comply with GDPR, Shopify Partner requirements and AI provider policies.

Data handling

• Merchant data is stored in an EU-hosted database (Supabase) with row-level security.
• Product data is fetched from Shopify/WooCommerce using scoped OAuth tokens — read/write only on what the merchant explicitly grants.
• No merchant data is sold, shared with third-party ad networks, or used to train external models.
• Merchants can export or delete all their data at any time from the dashboard.

Anti-fiction guarantee

MagicGEO refuses to generate fake reviews, invented prices, or fabricated product specifications. AI-generated copy is grounded in the merchant's real catalog data — never hallucinated attributes. This is enforced at the prompt layer and validated on every write-back.
